Spit Happens, Week 06

Hi, how are you? I hope you're doing well! It was a crazy week last week, and it feels like a lifetime ago. But, here are some things that I loved this week (even though it wasn't a lot!) Reading the Transcendent Kingdom has been a joy. The first official Knit and Lit book/yarn club is underway! Follow my friends at isbn there done that for more about the book clubs. Speaking of book clubs, I finished my second sock! knitting up the March Knit and Lit colorway was so fun! You can purchase your sock set as a preorder here. Sock pattern is by Summer Lee Knits. Spit Happens, Week 05

We made it, the last week in January of 2021. How did your first month into the New Year treat you? To be honest, I'm not sure what to think. We've witnessed some historical events, some horrific and others amazing! Here are some other things that I've enjoyed this week (and month). I've started working on my mental health. Talk therapy isn't very accessible to me, so I've found an app that is helping me work through my needs. Spit Happens, Weeks 03 & 04

Man, time sure does fly. It was mid-week when I realized I didn't post what happened in the LLJ world for week 03. So, this may be a long post! Week 03 looked a little something like this... Dog sitting for my parents, meet Kiki! She's a grumpy old dog, who loves to cuddle and go to bed early. It was so fun having an animal in the house for a few days! Dyed up the January Cultivation Mystery Yarn Club! I love how these colors turned out. There's still time to sign up for February! We took a hike near our city, the weather has been cold and smoggy, so it was nice to get out and move our...

Spit Happens, Week 02

Phew, what a first week of 2021. How are you feeling? I'm definitely feeling a lot of feelings. Here are some things that I've enjoyed this week... I started following Sharonsaysso on Instagram. She's super knowledgable with anything in regards to the United States Government. She also raised a LOT of money for people in need over the holidays. If you're wanting to know about current events, policies, or overall good content follow her! I finished my first ever sock! I followed the I'm So Basic Socks pattern by Summer Lee, and used the sock set for the February Knit and Lit club. I'm determined to not get 2nd sock syndrome... so I've already started the 2nd one to hopefully complete this...

Spit Happens, Week 01

It's the first 3 days into the new year. 2021 is here, finally! What we've all been waiting for since 2020 let us down. But, there were some really great highs and some really low lows. I've decided to share with you some of my great highs of 2020! Each week, I will be sharing some of my favorite things that happened through out the week. Documenting some things that happened and share them with you! But for now, here are some of my 2020 highlights, let me know yours! In January, I started the Botanical Dye Club, for January I dyed with onion skins! I loved how they turned out.   In February, I finished up this beautiful sweater...
